Victorian Titles held Saturday 4th July at Melbourne Showgrounds Vic. - 101 entries Supreme Australorp: Brian Newell - Horsham Vic Champion Large: Brian Newell - Horsham Vic (Black Pullet) Reserve Champion Large: Brian Newell - Horsham Vic (Black Pullet - this was 2nd in the class to the winning pullet) Champion Bantam: Summerell Bros - Tamborine Qld (Black Cockerel) Reserve Champion Bantam: Owner tba from Victoria (White Pullet) Our Victorian Championship has again been run and won. On Saturday the 4th July 18 Australorp exhibitors penned 100 birds in competition for the title of Champion Victorian Australorp. Congratulations to Brian Newell on taking out the Champion Australorp breeder of Brian’s pullets went 1,2,3 in their Standard class containing 27 birds which was a fantastic effort. Well done must also go to George Norman who in a class of 12 Standard Black Cockerels placed 1,2,3. We were also lucky enough to have birds entered from the Summerell Bros in A huge thankyou from all of the members to our Judge Mr Denis Dowdle. |
